Digital Race Photography was founded by Jack Puryear in 1997 with the idea of making available to motorsports enthusiasts
state-of-the-art digital photographs in just minutes at remote race tracks.
It began with a Kodak DCS420 digital camera and a Kodak 8650 Dye Sublimation printer and has grown to include the Nikon
F-100, Kodak 620x digital camera, another Kodak 8660 printer, i-Mac and
Platinum PowerBook computers, and a custom built air-conditioned/heated trailer.
We try to vary our venue from weekend to weekend in search of more first-time amatuer events rather than professional
races. Events include the open road races in Nevada and West Texas, SCCA car races, CMRA & WERA motorcycle races,
Porsche as well as other drivers education events, kart races, and club events such as Shelby Mustang, Corvette Club, etc |
