The Mock Wedding Workshop will be a full one-day workshop at the beautiful and historic Neill-Cochran House. Using stunning professional models as our bride and groom, acclaimed wedding photographer and instructor Dustin Meyer will teach the class how to shoot everything from getting ready to wedding details, wedding day portraits, posing, lighting, as well as setting up for stunning reception photos.
This class will meet and take place at the Neill-Cochran House Museum, 2310 San Gabriel St.

This all-day workshop is perfect for photographers who are looking to get into the wedding photography industry, as well as established photographers wanting to expand their creativity and their business. This class is geared towards part-time and full-time photographers and is designed for people who want to learn how to get the “must-have” shots that will help them stand out from other professional photographers. This workshop is intended for people at an intermediate skill level who understand exposure, aperture, shutter and ISO settings to help maintain an informative and productive learning experience.
Schedule and format
We will meet at 10 a.m. at the Neill-Cochran House Museum, 2310 San Gabriel St., and start with a one-hour introduction and move into some detail shooting before we break for lunch. Lunch is not included in your tuition. After lunch, we'll reconvene and work on more shooting from 1 to 4 p.m. At 4 p.m., we'll hold a presentation on the business aspect of shooting weddings which will include access to Dustin's pricing sheet and wedding contract. The workshop will close with a Q&A session and wraps up at 5 p.m.
10 to 11 a.m. — Introduction, slide presentation
11 a.m. to noon — Detail shots
Noon to 1 p.m. — Lunch (independant and not provided)
1 to 4 p.m. — Shooting
4 to 5 p.m. — Business presentation and Q&A

About the instructor
This workshop will be led by acclaimed photographer Dustin Meyer. Dustin is an internationally recognized wedding and portrait photographer based in Austin. Class & Event Cancellations
You can cancel a class registration up to two business days before the class begins and receive a full refund except for with some special classes and events such as the Mock Wedding and PCU Weekend. See below for more information.
If you register for a class that we hold on a regular basis, and do not show up for the class, you will be rescheduled one time. Once rescheduled once, if you do not show up for a class, your payment will be forfeited.
Each class needs a minimum number of students to enroll before the class can “make.” If the minimum enrollment has not been met two business days before the class begins, the class will be cancelled. All students who enrolled in the class will be notified by telephone or email, and may transfer to a different class or be issued a refund (see refund procedure). We encourage all students to enroll as soon as registration begins. Please check your phone and email messages, including your SPAM.
Unless otherwise stated, class refunds are only issued to customers that provide notice to the store that they would like a refund no later than two business days prior to the class. Refunds will not be issued to customers who sign up for a class but fail to attend.
How to Reschedule or Cancel a Class
Please contact the store at 512-467-7676 or email email@example.com to cancel a class. Class cancellations or requests to be rescheduled that are sent through other channels, such as Facebook or Meetup.com messages, will not be honored. Please note that class refunds are only issued during business hours, Monday through Friday.
PCU, Mock Wedding, West Texas Excursion, Special Events and One-Time Classes
You have up until seven days before a scheduled Mock Wedding, PCU Weekend or big bend excursion to cancel and receive a full refund or to reschedule. If you do not show up for a class that we are only holding one time or a class that we hold rarely, your class registration will be forfeited and you will not be permitted a refund or to reschedule. We will not offer a reschedule attempt to individuals who don't show up to the Mock Wedding Workshop due to the high amount of resources required for that class.
