Panasonic Lumix will be in all facets of the store with a sales demo up the center aisle all day, a free macro workshop in the morning and our first-ever Panasonic Experience featuring a food photography workshop and editorial cooking lifestyle shoot with instruction from local food bloggers Mariana and Ian McEnroe in the afternoon. Join Panasonic’s Jack Salamanchuk in the Precision Camera lounge for a FREE two-hour session on shooting high-quality macro images with a unique twist — instead of flowers and bugs we’ll be photographing circuit boards from vintage electronics! This session is designed to get anyone who has ever wondered what it takes to make fantastic looking images of small objects a road map to making dynamic images of the miniature world.
 
In this session, Jack will introduce turn-key setups sure to get you creating the high-quality images you imagine — regardless of your budget.
 
FORMAT
This is a two-hour session with a 15-minute break in the Precision Camera lounge that will involve slide presentation and live demonstration.

Panasonic is proud to present the creators of award winning cooking blog (Yes, More Please!) in their very own food photography demonstration! Mariana and Ian McEnroe will show steps from preparation photos to the final shot including everything from staging ingredients to finding the best way to shoot a final product using Panasonic cameras and lenses. Controlled lighting set-ups will be used to get the best results in each photo. Lenses and cameras will be provided to each student to use during the course. This intimate shooting experience will be limited to only twelve students.

  • Choosing the right lens for your set-up

  • Creating the best light and shooting angles
AUDIENCE

This is the perfect class for intermediate level photographers with an understanding of manual exposure. Knowledge of Panasonic products is helpful but NOT required.

EQUIPMENT

This is a Panasonic only event and all those in attendance will be required to shoot Panasonic. We will have FREE loaner gear available including: G9, GH5, GX85 and professional lenses.

SCHEDULE & FORMAT
    This shooting experience will run from 1 to 4 p.m. and will include:
  • A short presentation followed by demonstrations and guided photo-taking
  • Hands-on photography assisted by instructors and Panasonic representatives

  • SDHC memory cards (at least 16GB in total class 10 ore greater recommended)
  • Note taking material
