Offering 10X optical zoom for letting you to get close to action, it is equipped an LCD monitor to preview your image shots. The SDR-S10 begins recording in just 1.7 seconds from the time the LCD screen is opened. The SUB REC button on the side makes it easy to shoot when you are holding the camera low. The buttons are laid out simply and logically for easy one-hand operation. With an ability to stand up to rough environmental conditions, you can record just about anywhere. And uploading your precious memories onto your PC is quick and easy without the need to connect a cable or run a finalizing process when transferring the data. The Pure Color Engine converts the CCD output signal from a complementary color signal into an RGB signal at an early stage and extracts the low-frequency luminance component from the RGB signal. This engine also achieves true color reproduction for high-zoomed pictures. The water-resistant design lets you use this camcorder even when it's rainy or snowy, or in places where you might get a little wet, like by a pool or outside a ski lodge. You can hold and operate it even when your hand is wet. With its compact size and cool styling, it is small enough to fit in a pocket or bag, and cool enough to take everywhere you go.
