Do you have a Canon 7D or 5DII and don't know how to really shoot video?
We all know how to use the camera for stills, but video on these cameras open up a new world.
The class will go over everything using both of these cameras in the video mode. From menu settings and customizing picture profiles/ WB shift to tips and tricks to get the best video out of a camera that was meant for stills.
 
The instructor, Joe Simon from Joe Simon Productions,
will also bring some cool support gear that is essential for getting steady shots.
 
Joe will cover post processing and digital management of tapeless files. 
 
Many people that are coming from the video world into the DSLR world have no idea about lenses and how to choose the right ones so this is something he will go over. 
 
He will also do some hands on shooting as part of the course.

·          Time-lapse shooting - settings, intervalometers

·          Importance of stable shooting with DSLRs and the gear you need

·          Picture profile settings - maximize your latitude

·          Differences between the 1DMKIV / 5DMKII / 7D

·          Hands on shooting techniques, Glidecam, Sliders, Monopod

·          Incorporating audio effectively with the right microphones

·          Lighting, both natural and off camera

·          Cinematography composition and filmmaking rules to live by

·          Audio sync in post

·          Converting h.264 to a friendly editing format

·          Media management

·          Color grading footage
