Learn Hand Held Macro Photography

Who should attend: Anyone who wants to learn how to leave the tripod at home and get sharp macro shots or, just want to know what they need to get into this fun and inspiring form of photography.

What will be covered: How to set up the camera and flash. When to use teleconverters for getting incredible close shots of skittish insects or flowers even in a breeze.

What you will need:

1. SLR camera, film or digital

2. Power adjustable flash

3. 100mm macro lens (90mm-105mm works well)

4. Off camera flash cable

Attendees should know how to set the camera and flash to manual settings.

Wayne will show samples of his work and share favorite places for macro work as well as tips and tools to make life easier in the field. Plan for 1 hour of lecture and then go to the back of the store for practice.
