Overview

Please note: This workshop/shoot will use nude figure models.
Content can include glamour bondage and fetish themes.
Must be at least 18 years old to attend.

Friday

This session begins on Friday 27th of February. It is a 2 hour evening session with Engel beginning at 6:30 PM. This session will be limited to four (4) photographers. This is a studio flash session . Your host will explain and set lighting, but the bulk of the time will be spent shooting. Theme for this session will be announced.

You must be at least 18 years old to attend this session.

Saturday

On Saturday the 28th the workshop will begin at 10:00 AM and end at 5:00 PM. This session is obviously a full day and includes lunch and snacks through out the day, you'll never go hungry at a 19K function. I'm thinking I'll do up something special for lunch.

You will be working with Engel and Traci during the day. Two sets will be provided and models and photographers will rotate between them.

This is a studio flash Workshop. Topics covered during this session include, but not limited to:

Inexpensive lighting equipment and how to use it.
The quality of light and how it affects the outcome of your images,
     Flat versus dramatic lighting,
Light modifiers - what they are and how and why to use them,
Exposure - just what the heck is this graph on the back of my camera,
White balance - how and why,
Strobe Light setups and lighting ratios demonstrated using 1 to 4 lights.

The morning will be a combination of lighting instruction/demonstration and shooting while the afternoon will be mostly shooting with varied light set ups.

You must be18 years old to attend this session as Models will be nude. This session is geared to eight (8) photographers.

Sunday

Sunday sessions are an excellent way to practice what you learned on Saturday, though they are not restricted to only those who signed up for Saturday's session. Both Engel and Traci will be participating in these sessions. As outlined above, the models and photographers will rotate between sets.

Lighting will be at the discretion of the session photographers, however your host will set lights and discuss the setup. Arive early and talk lighting over preferences with the others in your session.

All Sunday sessions will be limited to four (4) photographers each. That is a 2:1 photographer to model ratio. Bring lots of memory cards or film, you'll have lots of opportunity to shoot.

Review:
Exactly as described. Steve is a very patient teacher and when I mentioned to him what my needs were, he was kind enough to work with me to give me what I needed. I can not say that he could do this all the time as the classes can be full.
I can say that I came away with some fantastic images for my portfolio

Problems I've encountered:
It is WAY out.... Take him seriously when he mentions "Deliverance"

Review:
The workshop was great. Steven took the time to explain the lighting set up and could answer any questions. The studio was nice and professional, though it is quite a drive. There was good rapport between the models and the photographer. I'm looking forward to taking the workshop again soon.

Problems I've encountered:
Give yourself plenty of time to get out there, it is quite a way out.
