Making the Most of the Landscape Photographic Experience with Lee Hoy
Saturday June 25th from 12 to 1:30 p.m.
Join OM System Pro Ambassador, Lee Hoy, for this journey through the landscape photographic experience as seen through the lens of Big Bend National Park during the night and day. He will walk you through a series of technical and creative skills, mindsets, how to read nature and light, and understanding your own strengths and passions to enhance the landscape photographic experience. This presentation will challenge, inspire, and encourage you to look at landscape photography through a different perspective. Night sky photography is a totally unique challenge from typical dayscape photography and Lee will address this aspect of landscape photography as well providing you with initial tips, techniques, and tricks to make sure your night sky photography experience is a special one. Lee has been exploring Big Bend National Park for over 35 years and is owner of Big Bend Birding & Photo Tours. When not exploring Big Bend, he is often leading workshops for Wildside Nature Tours and Precision Camera & Video in Austin and Houston, Texas.
About the Instructor:
Lee Hoy is a wildlife, landscape, macro and night sky photographer based out of the Davis Mountains in west Texas. In addition to being the lead adventure photography workshop instructor for Precision Camera & Video, Lee is also owner of Big Bend Birding & Photo Tours and serves as the lead photography workshop instructor for Wildside Nature Tours. He loves to teach workshop participants how to capture outstanding nature images and to blend photography and an amazing experience into one. He speaks at photography and birding festivals around the country and when not traveling loves to enjoy the night sky and wildlife in his own 18 acres of paradise on top of a mountain in west Texas. He is one of seventeen US and Canadian OM System Pro Ambassadors and loves sharing the amazing features and capabilities of the OM System. We are expanding the Precision Camera & Video workshops to include more domestic and international destinations for nature photographers!
