Join us for a great low-cost model access that's the final event of our Flash Fest weekend. This is your opportunity to bring your own gear and light it the way you want. We realize it is hard for many photographers to come up with professional models, a set, wardrobe, hair and makeup. So, we're doing all the leg work for you! This is not an instructional seminar, instead we will be allowing you the entire time to shoot and add great images to your portfolio. We will however, have professionals on hand to help you with your camera and settings. 

Multiple models will be on-hand and students will take the lead to direct their own mini-sessions. We will increase the number of models we have available based off our enrollments to ensure that there is no more than 6 photographers to every one model.

Purchase this shoot as a standalone for $59 or bundle with the purchase of Flash Fest to save $30.

Shoot and Venue Details:

For this Sunday, Nov. 3 Model Access Shoot we will stage it and let you shoot it! 

The venue will be Butler Metro Park, 1000 Barton Springs Rd, Austin, TX 78704, from 2 to 6 p.m.


We will have some bounce reflectors, so bring any artificial light that you think you might want to use. Use this time to try new lighting techniques with your gear, or return to basics with natural light shooting.

Don't forget:

• Any and All Lenses you want to work with
• Flash/lighting equipment, stands, brackets, modifiers, extra batteries
• Business Cards
• Water


Parking in this area is tough, and extra time should be reserved to find parking. Parking is available at the Long Center/Palmer Events Center parking garage for $8 per vehicle. Limited free parking is available in a lot at the NE corner of South 1st St. and Riverside Dr.

Class & Event Cancellations

Mock Wedding, Flash Fest, Special Events and One-Time Classes
You have up until seven days before a scheduled Mock Wedding, Flash Fest, Photo Campouts under $200 (including Caprock Canyon, Spring and Fall Photo Camping Extravaganza), special events and one-time classes to cancel and receive a full refund or to reschedule. If you do not show up for a class that we are only holding one time or a class that we hold rarely, your class registration will be forfeited and you will not be permitted a refund or to reschedule. We will not offer a reschedule attempt to individuals who don't show up to the Mock Wedding Workshop or Flash Fest due to the high amount of resources required for that class. 

How to Reschedule or Cancel a Class
Please contact the store at 512-467-7676 or email to cancel a class. Class cancellations or requests to be rescheduled that are sent through other channels, such as Facebook or messages, will not be honored. Please note that class refunds are only issued during business hours, Monday through Friday.

Minimum Enrollment
Each class needs a minimum number of students to enroll before the class can “make.” If the minimum enrollment has not been met two business days before the class begins, the class will be cancelled. All students who enrolled in the class will be notified by telephone or email, and may transfer to a different class or be issued a refund (see refund procedure). We encourage all students to enroll as soon as registration begins. Please check your phone and email messages, including your SPAM.
