Sony FR7 Cinema Line PTZ Camera Kit with 28-135mm Lens
Capture cinematic, full-frame footage in PTZ form for broadcast use, reality shows, houses of worship, and live events and sports with the black FR7 Cinema Line PTZ Camera from Sony. This versatile camera features the unique ability to use interchangeable Sony E-mount lenses and is currently compatible with up to 70 E-mount lenses ranging from 12 to 1200mm. The large image sensor provides 15+ stops of dynamic range, captures up to UHD 4K120 video, offers live streaming, supports S-Cinetone, Cine EI, and MLUT looks for matching select Sony cameras, and enables you to create shallow depth-of-field bokeh effects.
The FR7 PTZ camera features flexible PoE++ (Power-over-Ethernet) installation, up to 100 preset positions, tally lamps, a built-in electronic ND filter, 5-pin XLR audio input, and multicamera functions like timecode and Genlock. Versatile control options include an IR remote, compatibility with controllers like the Sony RP-IP500, and a remote web app for tablets and computers.
Full-Frame Sensor
The FR7 combines a 4K full-frame sensor and compatibility with Sony E-mount lenses to produce outstandingly expressive, cinematic imagery
15+ stops of dynamic range and a base ISO of 800 that is expandable from 12,800 to 409,600 for capturing optimal video in an array of lighting conditions
Sony E-Mount
Compatibility with up to 70 Sony E-mount lenses covers a range of 12 to 1200mm, enabling you to capture the widest vistas and the closest details
Use with G Master (GM) lenses to obtain impressive resolution and pleasing bokeh
Imaging Functions
Capture rich detail and wide color using Sony S-Log3 and create nuanced contrast with Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG)
Built-In ND Filters
An integrated, electronic ND filter offers variable ND filtration ranging from 1/4 (2 stops) to 1/128 (7 stops)
Use the ND filter to compensate for changes in exposure without affecting your depth of field
Create shallow depth-of-field effects by adding the ND and opening the iris
SDI Raw Output
The FR7 can output raw video via the SDI (BNC) output to an external recording for color grading and other post-production tweaking
UHD 4K 120p Recording
Record UHD 4K video at rates up to 120 fps for slow-motion effects
IP Control
Use the IP remote function to control your camera from a distance like a broadcast truck and/or to control multiple cameras
Smooth Movement

Sony FE 28-135mm f/4 G OSS PZ Lens
The Sony FE PZ 28-135mm f/4 G OSS Lens covers a wide-angle to telephoto perspective and is designed for full-frame, APS-C, or E-mount camcorder or still photography camera system. It features a powered zoom control with a variable speed and zoom rotation direction reversal apability. A SSM (Super Sonic Wave Motor) powers the zoom function and allows for precise and quiet operation. Designed to satisfy 4K production, focus noise is also minimized through weight reduction of the focus element group and use of linear motor. Iris function is also designed to be smooth and silent for cinematography demands.
The constant f/4 maximum aperture offers consistent performance throughout the zoom range and is especially beneficial when working with greater zoom magnifications in low-light conditions. Also benefiting working in dim light or at the long end of the zoom range is Optical SteadyShot image stabilization, which works to minimize the appearance of camera shake by up to four shutter speed steps.
