In today's world of social media, getting noticed, marketing yourself, and gaining followers are 90% of the battle to be successful. In reality, potential followers and contacts give you only seconds to make a lasting impression on them of what you are all about. Your images play a pivotal roll in that very short but crucial process. This class will help you understand all the different aspects of social media and how to create content that will catch peoples eyes and grow your online presence.

SCHEDULE

Lecture: 10:30am to 12pm at Anderson Ln

The Class will teach you the different parts of social media, how it works, and how to make it work for you.

Workshop: 2pm to 4pm at Zilker Botanical Gardens

The workshop portion will encompass the photographic style of photographer, David Hoffman (@SharkCookie), and will teach you how to make content so you can boost your presence online and get noticed!

• A memory card with space on it
• A fully charged battery

This class is for all skill level who want to learn more about how to grow their presence on Social Media.

About the Instructor:

David Hofmann, better known as Sharkcookie is one of the best known photographers in the US in the world of dance & gymnastics. His work is widely known through Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube where he has a combined audience of over 1.4 million followers. David started in the movie industry in various capacities, from low budget student films, to commercials all the way to animation at Dreamworks Animation for 10 years. He worked as an artist on 13 #1 box office movies including Kung Fu Panda, The Pianist, How to Train your Dragon and many others. In 2012 he switched to follow his other dream of becoming a professional photographer leveraging social media heavily as his method of marketing. His work has been published worldwide in various magazines & advertising through Getty Images and direct sales. With less than 20 photos posted he has over 100 million downloads on Unspash. Over the last 10 years David has been on top of various social media platforms and become an expert on mastering and marking his business on social media.

Class Cancellations

Tier 1: Standard Classes

If you register for a tier 1 class and do not show up, your payment will be forfeited. You can reschedule a class only if notice is given 24 hours before the start time of the class. Unless otherwise stated, class refunds are only issued to customers that provide notice to the store that they would like a refund 48 hours before the class. Refunds will not be issued to customers who sign up for a class but fail to attend.

Minimum Enrollment
Each class needs a minimum number of students to enroll before the class can “make.” If the minimum enrollment has not been met two business days before the class begins, the class will be cancelled. All students who enrolled in the class will be notified by telephone or email, and may transfer to a different class or be issued a refund (see refund procedure). We encourage all students to enroll as soon as registration begins. Please check your phone and email messages, including your SPAM.

How to Reschedule or Cancel a Class
Please contact the store at 512-467-7754 x341 or email classes@precision-camera.com to cancel a class. Class cancellations or requests to be rescheduled that are sent through other channels, such as Facebook or Meetup.com messages, will not be honored.
