What do I do with all this video footage I shot? Where do I start? How do I add music to my videos? Export my project for YouTube, Facebook...there are so many export options, which one do I choose? Not sure where to start...this course is for you!
In this course, we introduce beginner concepts and techniques for non-linear video editing. Targeted at beginning videographers and editors, this course covers how to work with your video footage, create and work with sequences, add transitions, add or modify audio and export your clip for viewing. In this course we will use Adobe Premiere Pro for editing but the basic concepts can be applied in any editing program.

Audience
This course is geared towards beginners in video editing. The concepts covered assume you have shot video and understand basic video concepts and terminology. A good pre-requisite for this course is the Basic Video Course here at Precision Camera and Video. This course is for those who want to learn the basics of editing video from RAW footage to exporting a simple completed project.
Schedule and Format
This is a lecture class. The application will be displayed on the screen and students can follow along. Please bring a notebook and something to write with as well.
You may bring a laptop if you want to follow along with your own footage; however, the instructor will not be able to provide computer, OS or application support.

Class Cancellations
Tier 1: Standard Classes
If you register for a tier 1 class and do not show up, your payment will be forfeited. You can reschedule a class only if notice is given 24 hours before the start time of the class. Unless otherwise stated, class refunds are only issued to customers that provide notice to the store that they would like a refund 48 hours before the class. Refunds will not be issued to customers who sign up for a class but fail to attend.
Minimum Enrollment
Each class needs a minimum number of students to enroll before the class can “make.” This class needs a minimum of 4 students. If the minimum enrollment has not been met two business days before the class begins, the class will be cancelled. All students who enrolled in the class will be notified by telephone or email, and may transfer to a different class or be issued a refund (see refund procedure). We encourage all students to enroll as soon as registration begins. Please check your phone and email messages, including your SPAM.
How to Reschedule or Cancel a Class
Please contact the store at 512-467-7754 x 341 or email classes@precision-camera.com to cancel a class. Class cancellations or requests to be rescheduled that are sent through other channels, such as Facebook or Meetup.com messages, will not be honored.
