In this course, we dive into beginner concepts and techniques necessary for shooting video with a DSLR or Mirrorless camera. Targeted at beginning videographers and anyone interested in shooting video, this course covers cinematography basics including the correct settings as well and lighting and audio basics.
Audience
This course is geared towards beginners in videography. We also assume you are familiar with your camera and it’s use. The concepts covered assume you are a photographer and requires an understanding of intermediate photography concepts - shutter, ISO, aperture, composition.
Schedule and Format
This is a lecture and hands-on class. The first section of class is spent in the Precision Camera classroom covering the concepts outlined above. The last half hour will be spent using your camera to shoot short video clips, try different settings, ask questions and receive one-on-one guidance.
If you arrive to the class and find the store closed, please head to the auxiliary door on the north side of the building and ring the doorbell. Someone will come to let you in.
