The full-color Ray 660c RGB LED Monolight is amaran’s highest-output COB light, delivering 660W of power with OmniColor technology and modern, creator-focused features. Designed to light subjects or fill expansive studios, the Ray 660c is a streamlined monolight-style LED built for demanding workflows.

Control settings intuitively via the FlowTurn knob and NFC configuration with the amaran app, or add optional DMX control via USB-C using a compatible adapter. Choose from an extended 1800–20,000K color temperature range in CCT+ mode with high color accuracy, and access full 360° color control through HSI and RGB modes.

The Ray 660c features an IP54-rated design for dust and water splash resistance, making it suitable for challenging environments. Added flexibility comes from its integrated yoke and full Bowens mount compatibility. amaran includes a reflector, a single power cable, and a carrying case to provide convenient storage and faster setup between shoots.

Powerful Studio-Quality Output

The bare light delivers up to 38,500 lux at 3.3' and 4300K. When paired with the included reflector, output increases dramatically to 91,600 lux at the same distance. A dedicated Fresnel, available separately, expands creative control with a variable spot-to-flood beam.

With 45,904 lumens, green-magenta shift adjustment, and high CRI 95, TLCI 95, SSI 80/87, and TM-30 94/100 ratings, the Ray 660c delivers clean whites, accurate skin tones, and consistent, true-to-life color reproduction both on camera and to the eye.

360º Full Color

amaran’s OmniColor engine provides an enhanced color spectrum with expanded red and blue ranges for a fuller, more balanced light output. The Ray 660c offers a native adjustable color temperature range of 2300–10,000K, expandable to 1800–20,000K in CCT+ mode.

Additional features include 0–100% stepless brightness control and full 360° color control for creating a wide variety of looks. FX mode includes 12 built-in effects:

Adaptive Control

The Ray 660c includes Quick Operation mode for instant adjustments, custom shortcuts for long-press and double-click actions, and dedicated High-Speed Photography and Studio modes.

An intuitive menu system and TFT screen enable fast onboard control, while the FlowTurn knob provides tactile feedback when adjusting settings. Built-in NFC allows one-tap pairing with the amaran app, and Bluetooth control offers a wireless range of up to 262.5'.

Optional DMX via USB-C

Integrate the Ray 660c into industry-standard lighting consoles and software using the optional amaran USB-C to 5-pin DMX in/out adapter. This enables precise cue programming, synchronized multi-light looks, and repeatable scenes for advanced studio workflows.

AC Power

amaran positions the Ray 660c as the first full-color COB LED in its power class with an integrated power supply. The all-in-one design builds power directly into the light head, eliminating bulky external power bricks and helping maintain a clean, efficient studio environment.

IP54-Rated Design & Low Fan Noise

An IP54 rating ensures dust and splash resistance, while active fan cooling remains quiet enough for video production at just 28 dBA at maximum output. Silent and smart fan modes allow creators to balance cooling performance with noise control.

Wide Compatibility

The Ray 660c features a full-size metal Bowens mount compatible with the included reflector, an optional dedicated Fresnel, and a wide range of Bowens modifiers.

Its yoke design allows precise lamp head rotation and includes dual junior/baby pin receivers for quick mounting to compatible stands. A built-in safety chain bracket adds an extra layer of security during use.
