Atomos Ninja TX GO Overview

Designed as the HDMI-only companion to the Ninja TX, the Atomos Ninja TX GO 5.2" HDMI Wi-Fi-Enabled Camera Monitor/Recorder from Atomos is a compact on-camera monitor and recorder ideal for use on any set. New features include HDMI 2.0 input/output, camera control, touch to focus, integrated Connect technology providing Wi-Fi connectivity for TX/RX streaming and direct upload, a brighter 1500 cd/m² touchscreen display, 6K30 ProRes RAW recording, recording to CFexpress Type B or USB-C, a tally light, a built-in NDI/HX3 license, and built-in codecs including ProRes RAW, DNx, and H.265.

5.2" Touchscreen Display

The 5.2" IPS touchscreen offers a 1920 x 1080 resolution with a bright 1500 cd/m² display for accurate color even in daylight. It supports 8/10-bit color processing, HDR, Rec. 709 color gamut, and Calibrite ColorChecker Display Pro/Plus calibration for precise monitoring.

Updated Linux Operating System

Redesigned for the Ninja TX/TX GO, the AtomOS Linux operating system provides updated tools, a sleeker interface, and more efficient, cooler operation.

Wireless Features

With AtomX Connect functionality built in, the Ninja TX GO offers expanded connectivity. Its included license enables full NDI integration as either a source or receiver, delivering high-quality, low-bandwidth video across authorized network devices.

Camera to Cloud

The Camera to Cloud (C2C) workflow allows direct upload of video files from the monitor-recorder to the cloud. Supported destinations include ATOMOSphere, Adobe Frame.io, and Dropbox. All required C2C hardware and features are built in.

Comprehensive Color and Metadata

Supports log formats from Sony, ARRI, JVC, RED, FUJIFILM, Nikon, Panasonic, and Canon. Upload custom 3D LUTs and output HDR conversions to Log, HLG, PQ, or Dolby Vision. Record metadata such as white balance, exposure index, shutter speed or angle, iris, ISO, gamma, and gamut.

HDMI Input/Output

HDMI input supports up to 6K30, 4K60, and 1080p120. Loop-through output sends the signal to external monitors, transmitters, or streaming encoders.

Recording and USB Features

Features a CFexpress Type B slot and dual USB-C ports with PCIe and NVMe support for fast transfer speeds and scalability. USB-C also supports calibration, LUT uploads, audio devices, and firmware updates.

With the AtomOS 12.2.1 update, ProRes RAW recording from the Canon EOS R6 Mark III is supported up to 6960 x 3672p30 and 4320 x 2278p60.

Power Options

An L-series battery plate supports NP-F batteries. An optional battery eliminator provides DC power. USB-C supports 30W PD power delivery with the included cable.

Comprehensive Monitoring Tools

Includes focus peaking, zoom modes, zebras, false color (ARRI and EL Zone), frame guides, SMPTE safe areas, grid markers, waveform, RGB parade, vectorscope, and flexible 3D/1D LUT support including .cube uploads. Anamorphic de-squeeze monitoring is also supported.
