Basic to Professional Camera Techniques

This workshop "Basic to Professional Camera Techniques is designed to advanced any photographer to the next level of technical expertise. It's a "hands on" class, with students using their camera equipment and applying the information taught during the session. I will go into great detail about how and why we set our cameras for various assignments from weddings, sports, editorial, architecture, portrait, commercial, etc...
Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to:
- Identify photographic tools and their purposes
- Evaluate the overall effects and why of the Exposure Triangle
- Understand the functions of apertures and shutter speeds and their effect upon depth-of-field and motion
- Select appropriate lenses
- Understand the functions of Manual and Program settings and when they are should be used
- These are all building block to become a professional photographer
- Develop a personal style and vision
- Analyze the in-class photographs to determine positive and negative attributes as it relates to the successful capture of the subject
- Find out what settings work for you and your approach to photography
- Photography is very subjective and personal to each photographer; this workshop should help you find your approach.
- Learn the technical so it's in the background, now creativity can come through in your work!
