FLIP FLOP to Nigeria!

11th Jul 2016

Precision Camera & Video is honored to be part of such a great cause. Too many people in the poorest villages and orphanages of Nigeria have no shoes to wear. Spruce Dickerson, pagent coach and model, wanted to change that, thus starting FLIP FLOP to NIGERIA! All summer long, we will be accepting donated flip flops (or cash, if that is easier for you) to donate to villages in Nigeria!

From Flip Flop to Nigeria's website:

"The Mission of this campaign is to reach the peoples of Nigeria with Hope, Love & Encouragement through $1.00 FLIP FLOPS; sending them to the poorest of poor villages, & to the orphanages in Nigeria.

The Vision which Spruce had, & has, is that for $1.00 flip flops can be purchased in the Dollar Store. For only $1.00, hope, love & encouragement can be given to those who struggle to find it. What is $1.00 to most Americans--nothing. But, to those who have nothing at all, $1.00 is rich. Those receiving our flip flops will know they are loved! And, at the same time of providing hope, love & encouragement through a $1.00 pair of flip flops, it also provides protection for feet; helping to prevent diseases & infections.

In addition to benefiting the recipient, FLIP FLOP to NIGERIA also benefits the giver. By giving a $1.00 pair of flip flops, it shows the benefactor how to love, how to give, the importance of VOLUNTEERISM & what VOLUNTEERISM looks & feels like; it teaches the value & meaning of money & just how far $1.00 will go. Plus, with spending just $1.00, most all persons are able to participate in giving. The message for the giver is much deeper than just simply giving a pair of flip flops.

Also, this campaign has no age limit. Children can be a benefactor with their allowance money! Spruce received a donation of 40 pairs of flip flops from a Princess Camp whose little girls earned flip flops daily for one week! The children were delighted to give!"
