Recap: Canon Takeover

We had an absolute blast on Saturday with Canon! We had wrestlers, brand new product, and the weather cooperated - always something to cherish in unpredictable Austin weather.

The day started with a video class by our very own Josh Baker of Azulox. The class covered all the basics to become well-equipped to do proper video production with a Canon DSLR camera.

As the afternoon emerged and sunlight started to peak through the clouds, it was time to get down to business: lucha libre! The students had an opportunity to rent Canon cameras and lenses and test them out as real wrestlers took to the ring and battled it out to be the champion!

Students and shoppers alike were given the opportunity to handle the brand new  Canon EOS R (pre-order here!) - their first full-frame mirrorless camera. The EOS R shoots 30mp, 4k video, and autofocuses like a champ. Patron's faces lit up as they got their hands on a camera we've all been anticipating for years.
