Profoto L600D Daylight Mono-LED Light
Profoto continues to enlarge their LED series with the introduction of the L600D Daylight Mono-LED Light. Developed as a convenient all-in-one light source with no external ballast, the L600D has everything integrated right into the lamp head. The light combines cutting-edge features and power in a portable 13 lb design—a time-saving solution for fast-paced studios. Compared to the L1600D model, this 600W version is significantly lighter, but maintains the brand's HydroCTech cooling system, as well as advanced control methods and other professional features for cinematic lighting. Here, the Profoto Core LED engine ensures color accuracy, while delivering 600W of high-quality light output. With a fixed 5600K CCT, the L600D's light control is provided by precise 0.1 to 100% dimming without flicker. Experience high brightness, quiet operation, and fast setup on set. Superior Brightness
Greatly respected for plenty of strobes over the years, Profoto has now expanded the Mono-LED series with a fast and light fixture option. Among the features that professionals and tight production schedules will appreciate are the ballast-free design and flicker-free operation of the L600D at any frame rate. The fixture's 650W of power draw has a 95% light conversion efficiency. Producing 13,100 lux at 9.8', the compact L600D guarantees a bright output at 5600K.
Smooth Dimming Transitions & Color Accuracy
16-bit dimming to 0.1% is an outstanding feature of the L600D, and the light adds maximum precision with four dimming curves: linear, exponential, logarithmic, and S-curve. You expect reliability from Profoto's trusted standard in professional lighting, but they've pushed the envelope with high CRI 97, TLCI 99, and SSI 86 as indicators of superior performance and accuracy in color rendering.
Control Options
The unit builds upon the remarkable quality of Profoto products and combines features that make it more versatile and easy to use than ever. The settings are adjustable with an intuitive onboard user interface. Elegant, minimalist local controls are combined with a clear screen display to facilitate onboard adjustments. Uncomplicated onboard control, as well as Profoto Air and Profoto AirX connectivity enable a variety of ways to manage the fixture. The L600D also adds other important communication methods, such as DMX/RDM and CRMX capability. The L600D's wireless connectivity is possible from up to 328' away.
HydroCTech Cooling System & Updates
The innovative, patent-pending active HydroCTech liquid cooling system handles heat from the LED and its power electronics, ensuring longevity and quiet operation for sound-sensitive environments. Profoto Control Desktop App
The brand adds the free Profoto Control Desktop app to expand your control options and enable fast, precise, and consistent adjustments. The app offers seamless control over your Profoto light right from your Mac computer—improving any studio workflow and lighting setup, whether you're working with a single light or multi-light setups. Some of the many features of the Profoto Control Desktop app are the ability to save and reuse custom presets, independent control of up to six lighting groups, tethering integration, and firmware updates.

Your Studio Companion
The light body with yoke weighs only 13 lb. Its reliable and lightweight construction ensures you can use multiple fixtures on set without much assembly effort. With Profoto's 100mm accessory mount, the fixture is also compatible with 55 optional Profoto modifiers for complete creative control. The L600D is powered by a multi-voltage 100-240 VAC source using a Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 connector. Mount the fixture with the yoke's 1-1/8" stud and 5/8" receiver.
