Sirui ST224+VH10 Overview
The compact ST-224 Quick Release Carbon Fiber Tripod with VH-10 Video Head from Sirui is a carbon fiber tripod system weighing just 5.7 lb. The four-section tripod legs and fluid video head hold a payload of 13.2 lb. Fold the legs down to a minimum working length of 20.7", or extend the legs and the removable center column to reach the maximum height of 72.6".
The aluminum VH-10 fluid video head supports midsize cameras and DSLR/mirrorless models, all balanced by sliding the long plate. It includes 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting screws, with a 3.5" back and forth flexibility on the head. With counterbalance support of 4.4 lb, the pan drag has friction control, and the panning base features four grades of drag dialed from 0 to 3. A single-stage pan handle is included with the head, and a carrying bag for the full system is also part of this package.
Triangular Center Column
The carbon fiber center column and the legs are lightweight, sturdy, and corrosion resistant, and the triangular center column gives the tripod a fairly compact size when collapsed.
Quick Release System
Press the quick release button to quickly remove the center column for a lighter kit and a lower shooting angle.
Quick Release Threaded Screw Adapter
Press the quick release button to quickly switch between the 1/4"-20 to 3/8"-16 threaded screw adapter.
Waterproof Legs
The twist leg locks are tightly sealed to prevent water, dirt, and dust from entering the tube.
Accessory Ports
A wide range of accessories can be attached to the tripod via the 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 accessory threads.
Rubber Feet and Spikes
Rubber feet and metal spikes are included to handle many different surfaces. Retract the rubber feet to reveal the spikes.

The telescopic pan handle may be mounted on the left or right side for convenient operation.
