The Atomos Shogun Ultra is a professional-grade 7" HDR monitor-recorder built for cinematographers, videographers, and on-set professionals who demand the best in both monitoring and recording. Whether you're working with a mirrorless shooter or a full cinema rig, the Shogun Ultra bridges the gap between on-camera capture and cloud-connected workflows — making it a powerful hub for modern production. It's equally at home on a compact handheld setup as it is on a multi-camera broadcast rig.
At the heart of the Shogun Ultra is a 2000-nit SuperAtom IPS touchscreen running AtomOS 11, giving you a bright, accurate display for critical HDR monitoring in any lighting condition. It supports Apple ProRes RAW recording up to 8K/30p, 6K/60p, and 4K/120p, along with dual recording that captures full-quality ProRes RAW and a simultaneous H.265 proxy — ideal for Camera to Cloud workflows. Connectivity is comprehensive with 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 in and out, plus Wi-Fi 6E, GigE, and AirGlu RF for wireless sync and remote control. Advanced monitoring tools including EL Zone, ARRI false color, waveforms, vectorscopes, and focus peaking round out a feature set that's hard to beat at this form factor.
