Bringing a camera back to life!

Service Technician David Edwards has been resurrecting his old cameras for some time now. His last project was a Minox C 110 camera. I asked David to share some of his photos, old and new, and talk to us about bringing it back to life!

I was going through my old slide and negatives when I came across some old negatives I took with a Minox around 1983 when I was in Graduate school at UT.
I had to rig up a holder to scan them. They actually looked pretty good considering that they were only 1/9th the area of a 35MM frame.
(Dave's actual Minox C!)
I still had a Minox C model in my collection of old cameras, decided to see if I could get it going. After some cleaning and rigging a battery for it, I got it working.
I thought film for it was long discontinued but after some poking around I found that Blue Moon Camera & Machine still sold film for it. To my delight the camera produced good exposures, and actually makes a reasonable 4X6 size print.
