Canon Gets Connected

Canon debuted its Connection Station media storage hub at CES. It's a networked media box with a terabyte hard drive for photo and video storage. Wired connections include LAN, HDMI and USB which facilitates backup and restore on an external hard drive. It connects via Wf-Fi or NFC to compatible Canon cameras and Canon Pixma and Selphy printers. and supports JPG, RAW (CR2), MP4, MOV and AVCHD. Expected to ship June 2015, the CS100 costs $299.
