Liberate Your Photos!

We upload over 350 million photos to facebook each day. That's a staggering 20% of the photos taken each day. Wait, that means that 350 million is only one fifth of the photos taken every single day. And that figure is one technologically-ancient year old. Some estimate we're taking nearly 2 billion pictures a day in 2014. What does this mean? It means your clogged camera roll, Hindenburg-sized hard drives and stashed shoe-boxes full of photos, are not going anywhere. But they're not taking over just yet. Not anymore.

An organization called the Save Your Photos Alliance is dedicated to solving these very issues and we're taking on the cause. All it takes to manage your family's photo legacy are the right tools and the wish to engage again with the photos we've otherwise abandoned. Where do we start? Glad you asked.

At 2:45, our digital pioneer goes old school to show you how to welcome prints into your digital library. And not just a few nice prints, but that whole hairy mess under beds and in closets.
