Precision Camera University's First Photography Excursion - West Texas
Posted by Tani James, Education Director on 29th Apr 2016
Hi Everyone! Tani James, your Education Director. Hope you're having as good a day as we are!
Love landscape photography? We do too! That's why Mandy Lea is taking a small group out to Big Bend Texas on a destination photography excursion.
The geography and culture of West Texas is beautiful and unique. Filled with rocky peaks, wild cactus, and desert grasslands, this region is a wonder to capture with the photographic eye.
Mandy will guide you to locations throughout Big Bend National Park including the Chisos Basin, Santa Elena Canyon, and Rio Grande River. In addition to capturing these iconic landscapes, you will also have the opportunity to explore the surrounding culture of the Terlingua Ghost Town and practice light painting in it’s unique cemetery.
In addition to helping you understand camera settings, composition, and lighting tips, we will end the workshop with editing techniques so you will walk away with outstanding finished images. The fee includes the workshop only. Transportation, lodging and food are not included.
