Film Noir Studio Lighting Class

Dark and Dramatic. Spooky and Constrained. Learn to control your lights to produce a dramatic film noir look in your photography. We will be using snoots and grids and shadows to tell a story with light on our model. Casablanca but with your camera!
Please register early, within 5 days of the start date, to reduce the likelihood of course cancellation.
Structure and Format
This class will consist of a 45-minute lecture followed by 2 hours of photographing a model in the Precision Camera Studio.

Equipment Required
Any Camera with a normal to portrait length lens and a hot shoe. Memory Card, Camera Batteries. Something to take notes with. Strobes and triggers will be provided
Audience
This is an immediate level class. You should have a working knowledge of manual camera controls - ISO, Shutter Speed, Aperture.
About the Instructor
To Josh, life is one big adventure. He founded AzulOx Visuals in 2009 and has been exploring the world and new photographic techniques ever since. Josh loves to use his photographs to tell stories, and he excels in designing creative story-boarded shoots. Josh is passionate about photography and the creative development of his students. He uses a variety of teaching techniques to help his students realize their photographic vision.
