Glam Studio Lighting
with Josh Baker
In this class we will learn how to take modern day Beauty Portraits. By using standard studio equipment we will walk through how to photograph glamorous editorial style portraits. Perfect for high end senior portrait sessions, beauty editorials, and makeup and jewelry clients. Learn some go-to lighting recipes. We will be working in the high key register of our exposure.
Please register early, within 5 days of the start date, to reduce the likelihood of course cancellation.
Structure and Format
The first 45 minutes will be lecture and walkthrough. Last 2 hours will be hands on shooting with a model. This class will take place at Precision Camera’s Studio.

Camera with manual controls, hot shoe, and portrait length lens (75-150mm). Memory Card, Note taking supplies.
This is an intermediate class that will introduce you to studio lighting and light shapers. You should be comfortable with shooting in full manual control with an understanding of ISO, Shutter Speed and Aperture.
About the Instructor
To Josh, life is one big adventure. He founded AzulOx Visuals in 2009 and has been exploring the world and new photographic techniques ever since. Josh loves to use his photographs to tell stories, and he excels in designing creative story-boarded shoots. Josh is passionate about photography and the creative development of his students. He uses a variety of teaching techniques to help his students realize their photographic vision.

Tier 1: Standard Classes
You can cancel a class registration up to two business days before the class begins and receive a full refund for standard classes. If you register for a tier 1 class and do not show up, your payment will be forfeited. You may reschedule a class only if notice is given before the start time of the class. Unless otherwise stated, class refunds are only issued to customers that provide notice to the store that they would like a refund no later than two business days prior to the class. Refunds will not be issued to customers who sign up for a class but fail to attend.
Each class needs a minimum number of students to enroll before the class can “make.” If the minimum enrollment has not been met two business days before the class begins, the class will be cancelled. All students who enrolled in the class will be notified by telephone or email, and may transfer to a different class or be issued a refund (see refund procedure). We encourage all students to enroll as soon as registration begins. Please check your phone and email messages, including your SPAM.
How to Reschedule or Cancel a Class
Please contact the store at 512-467-7676 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to cancel a class. Class cancellations or requests to be rescheduled that are sent through other channels, such as Facebook or Meetup.com messages, will not be honored.
