If we all have the potential to be creative, why is it so hard? In this fun and enlightening hands-on workshop, we will begin by exploring some of the science behind creativity. Where does it come from? Are humans born with it or do they learn it? Is it possible to make yourself more creative?
The answers that are the results of research done by cognitive psychologists will surprise you, frustrate you, and excite you.
Armed with a better understanding of how creativity works, Joe will help you lay the foundation to be able to develop more creative skills and become a better, more creative photographer, with tips that will help you to see and think about your subjects in ways that you never have before.

This is a fun educational and entertaining event for photographers of all skill levels. Beginners will find it motivating and experienced photographers will find that it addresses many of their struggles and makes them re-think some of the things they have been taught about photography and gives them an opportunity to experiment with these techniques during the workshop.
This is a hands-on workshop where you will be creating your own unique images. We will have a makeup artist and model and lots of props and materials to create your own bold and beautiful fashion / beauty shot.

About the Instructor
Joe Edelman is an Olympus Visionary and award-winning photographer and educator and YES – that crazy PHOTO Joe Edelman on YouTube!
His primary subject: Beautiful people!
His educational mission: To help photographers to develop a solid understanding of the HOWS and WHYS behind creating great photographs.
His work is featured frequently on well-known photography blogs including Fstoppers, DIYPhotography, PetaPixel, Lifehacker, ISO1200, Shutterbug and LensVid among others. His primary subject - beautiful people!
His photographs have been published internationally in magazines like Maxim, Cosmopolitan, Get Fit, Shape and Good Light Magazine to name a few. He has been called upon to complete assignments for both the New York Times and The Los Angeles Times and has serviced commercial advertising clients from all over the United States.
Joe has earned a reputation as a lively and popular instructor and lecturer at camera clubs, photography conferences and photography workshops across the United States. He has been a speaker at events like WPPI, PhotoPlus, ImagingUSA, Shutterfest, Out of Chicago, Carolina Photo Expo, FCCC, SWMCCC and numerous others. He has also served as an adjunct professor teaching about Creativity and Photography at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA and Northampton County Community College in Monroe, PA.
Along with his incredible wife and two four legged kids, Joe is based in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Each class needs a minimum number of students to enroll before the class can “make.” If the minimum enrollment has not been met two business days before the class begins, the class will be cancelled. All students who enrolled in the class will be notified by telephone or email, and may transfer to a different class or be issued a refund (see refund procedure). We encourage all students to enroll as soon as registration begins. Please check your phone and email messages, including your SPAM.
How to Reschedule or Cancel a Class
Please contact the store at 512-467-7676 or email email@example.com to cancel a class. Class cancellations or requests to be rescheduled that are sent through other channels, such as Facebook or Meetup.com messages, will not be honored. Please note that class refunds are only issued during business hours, Monday through Friday.
Mock Wedding, West Texas Excursion, Special Events and One-Time Classes
You have up until seven days before a scheduled Mock Wedding, Excursions, special events and one-time classes to cancel and receive a full refund or to reschedule. If you do not show up for a class that we are only holding one time or a class that we hold rarely, your class registration will be forfeited and you will not be permitted a refund or to reschedule. We will not offer a reschedule attempt to individuals who don't show up to the Mock Wedding Workshop due to the high amount of resources required for that class.
