Underwater Shooting Experience
Learn to photograph underwater alongside mermaids in this on-location workshop and shooting experience. We will cover the best ways to protect your camera, ensure our models safety and learn the best tips and techniques for getting fantastic underwater images before we jump into the pool and shoot some images with professional models. Our location for this class will be 12113 Emerald Oaks Dr, Austin, TX 78739.
A one hour classroom session will start the day. We will cover equipment for getting your camera under the surface, the best lenses and focus modes to use while underwater and then give a breakdown on how to safely produce your own shoots.
The four hour shooting experience will take place at a local pool with mermaid models. The photographers will be getting wet as well so please be able to hold your breath and be able to swim a few feet. Shooting will repeatedly rotate through each photographer fairly quickly so that we can all stay fresh and make great exposures.
Please register early, within 5 days of the start date, to reduce the likelihood of course cancellation.
