24.3MP APS-C X-Trans CMOS III Sensor

The X-E3 features Fujifilm's X-Trans CMOS III, a 24.3 MP APS-C sized sensor renowned for outstanding image quality, especially when paired with high performance XF lenses. Fuji's unique, randomized pixel array allows the sensor to cut out morié and false colors without needing an optical low-pass filter, and also delivers impressive noise reduction up to ISO 12800. The sensor also offers an excellent read speed, helping to improve the camera's response in the burst mode, high-accuracy AF tracking, high-speed live view and high quality video performance. 

X-Processor Pro with Advanced Image Processing Capability

The X-Processor Pro contributes to fast performance throughout the camera system, including a start up time of 0.4 seconds, shutter lag time of 0.05 seconds, shooting interval time of 0.25 seconds, and a continuous shoot rate of 14 fps when working with an electronic shutter, or 8 fps when working with a mechanical shutter. 

UHD 4K and Full HD Video

The X-E3 can record in both UHD4K/30p and Full HD 1080/60p video resolutions. Video can be output via HDMI to an external recorder or monitor, and a mic jack is featured for working with an external microphone. 

91-Point Autofocus System

The X-E3 utilizes both contrast and phase detection methods for the hybrid autofocus system which employs 91 total points that can be divided into 325 total areas for a high degree of focusing accuracy in a variety of lighting conditions. The fast and accurate phase detection pixels cover 50% side to side and 75% top to bottom of the frame. 

The X-E3 offers Single Point AF for accurate focus on a single focus point, Zone AF for a moving subject and Wide/Tracking AF. If "ALL" is selected, it is possible to seamlessly switch the AF mode using the rear command dial. 

Film Simulation and Grain Effect Modes

Taking advantage of Fujifilm's vast history in traditional film-based photography, the X-E3 integrates several Film Simulation modes, which can be used for photos or videos, to mimic the look and feel of some of Fujifilm's classic film types. Users can change between 15 different types to enjoy a rich variety of color and gradation reproduction according to their subject, shooting scene, and expression intent.
