Used FUJIFILM XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R WR II Lens
The Fujifilm XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R LM WR II is the second-generation flagship APS-C standard zoom for the Fujifilm X-mount system, covering a 24-84mm full-frame equivalent focal range with a constant f/2.8 aperture. Released in November 2024, the Mark II is approximately 37% lighter than the original XF 16-55mm f/2.8 at 410g versus 655g, and 11mm shorter at 95mm in length — a significant reduction for a constant f/2.8 zoom without any compromise in weather resistance or optical quality. The lens carries the Fujinon Red Badge designation, indicating the highest tier of XF optics, and is optically redesigned for Fujifilm's latest 40MP X-Trans sensors. A notable first for the XF lens lineup is a de-click switch on the barrel that allows the aperture ring to operate in stepless, near-silent mode for smooth video exposure control.
The optical formula uses 16 elements in 11 groups including four aspherical elements, three ED elements, and one Super ED element for edge-to-edge sharpness, chromatic aberration control, and smooth bokeh across the zoom range. An 11-blade circular diaphragm and inner focusing design keep the lens length constant throughout the zoom range, and the 30cm minimum focus distance is consistent across the entire focal range. Weather resistant construction includes sealing at 12 points and a fluorine coating on the front element, with operation rated to -10°C when paired with a weather-resistant X Series body. The upgraded linear motor delivers autofocus speeds as fast as 0.02 seconds.
