Used Nikon Coolpix B500 Digital Camera
The Nikon Coolpix B500 is an entry-level bridge superzoom camera built around a 16MP 1/2.3" CMOS sensor and a 40x optical zoom NIKKOR lens covering a 22.5-900mm equivalent focal range, with 4x digital zoom extending reach further to a 3,600mm equivalent field of view. Lens-shift Vibration Reduction helps manage camera shake across the extended zoom range for both stills and video, and the lens uses 12 elements in 9 groups including three ED elements for chromatic aberration control. Autofocus offers center, face-priority, manual selection, subject tracking, and target-finding modes, with 99 selectable focus areas available in manual AF selection.
The B500 records Full HD 1080p video at up to 60i, and its tilting 3.0" 921,000-dot TFT LCD with anti-reflection coating provides 98% frame coverage during shooting and full coverage during playback, useful for shooting from difficult angles since there is no built-in viewfinder. Nikon SnapBridge connectivity enables automatic Bluetooth image transfer to a paired smartphone and remote camera control. A distinctive practical feature is the B500's power source: four standard AA batteries (alkaline, NiMH, Oxyride, or lithium), letting users avoid a proprietary charger and swap in fresh batteries anywhere.
