Used Sirui 35mm T2.9 1.6X Anamorphic Lens for Sony E
The Sirui 35mm T2.9 1.6x Full-Frame Anamorphic is a cinema prime for Sony E-mount cameras offering a true optical 1.6x anamorphic squeeze — equivalent to the horizontal field of view of a 22mm spherical full-frame lens. The 1.6x squeeze factor produces the characteristic anamorphic visual signatures: oval bokeh, horizontal blue streak flares when directed at light sources, and a wider aspect ratio when de-squeezed in post or in-camera. Shooting in 16:9 produces a 2.8:1 de-squeezed aspect ratio; shooting in 3:2 yields 2.4:1. The constant 1.6x squeeze ratio is maintained at all focusing distances, preventing subject size change during focus pulls.
The optical formula uses 18 elements in 13 groups, and the 10-blade aperture diaphragm produces oval bokeh consistent with the anamorphic squeeze. Standard 0.8 MOD gearing on both the focus and aperture rings is compatible with follow focus motors and iris control systems, and matching gear positions, color rendition, and T2.9-T16 aperture range across the Sirui Venus anamorphic series (35, 50, 75, 100, 135, 150mm) allow multi-lens productions to maintain visual consistency. A 1/4"-20 mounting thread is built into the lens barrel for lens support compatibility.
