The EOS R6 V Camera is the first full-frame EOS V series camera. It is designed for advanced videographers, cinematic social media content, vertical video productions and podcasts, livestreams, VR and more. It’s built for creative videographers seeking high-performance video with its 7K / 32.5MP resolution full-frame image sensor and includes a host of video creation features such as active cooling, an additional vertical tripod mount with vertical video UI, an additional front record button, Power Zoom lever, tally lamp, and a full-size HDMI terminal. Stop Motion Animation Firmware

This version of the EOS R6 V features pre-installed Stop Motion Animation firmware to improve the camera's ability to be used for advanced stop motion applications and in conjunction with specialized software, like Dragonframe.
  • Upgrades the camera's live resolution to 1920 x 1280 (compared to 940 x 640 on standard models) when connected to animation software, allowing animators to confirm focus and movement within every frame
  • USB manual focus peaking provides the benefits of programmable remote focus adjustment without the need of auxiliary focus motors
  • Used with Canon RF lenses, a Focus Position Memory feature can be used for more accurate and repeatable focus adjustment via computer control
  • Aperture value can be set and maintained with the Aperture Lock function in Dragonframe, giving finer control and preventing aperture-based flickering
  • HDMI can be toggled on and off in the camera's menu, allowing the use of external monitors while working in Stop Motion Mode
