Sigma fp2 Mirrorless Digital Camera
The Sigma FP2 is a compact full-frame mirrorless camera built around a 24.5 megapixel partially stacked CMOS sensor and the L-Mount. A dedicated switch on top toggles between STILL and CINE modes, each with its own interface and workflow, so the same pocket-sized body works as a stills camera and a cinema camera.
For stills, it shoots continuously at up to 20fps for up to 200 frames, saves 14-bit DNG files, and uses subject-detection autofocus that recognizes people, dogs, cats, and birds. For video, it records 6K OpenGate with ProRes RAW and L-Log, with up to 14.1 stops of dynamic range (4K full-frame L-Log), 32-bit float audio when paired with the optional HU-21 hot shoe unit and Panasonic XLR adapter, and a Director’s Viewfinder function that simulates the framing of cinema cameras and handles anamorphic desqueeze. There’s 70GB of internal storage alongside the SD card slot, a 3.15-inch tilting touchscreen, and thirteen color modes. The body is dust and splash resistant, uses 1/4" threads for accessories, and has no built-in viewfinder, so the optional EVF-21 attaches through the USB-C port.
