Used Laowa 9mm f/2.8 C&D-Dreamer Lens
The Laowa 9mm f/2.8 C&D-Dreamer (Zero-D) is a manual focus ultra-wide angle prime lens built for APS-C Leica L-mount cameras, offering a 13.5mm equivalent focal length and a dramatic 113° angle of view. Its Zero-D optical design is built specifically to minimize distortion, making it a strong choice for architecture, interiors, and landscape work where straight lines matter.
The optical construction uses 15 elements in 10 groups, including two aspherical elements and three extra-low dispersion elements, to control both spherical and chromatic aberrations. A Frog Eye Coating on the front element repels dust and moisture, adding some resilience for outdoor and travel use. The lens accepts 49mm front filters despite its ultra-wide angle of view, and its tiny, lightweight build makes it a natural fit for gimbals and handheld video work as well as stills.
