Used Leica IIIF Red Dial Rangefinder 35mm Film Camera with 50mm f/3.5 Lens
The Leica IIIF Red Dial is one of the most celebrated cameras in the history of 35mm photography — a refined iteration of the Barnack Leica lineage produced by Ernst Leitz of Wetzlar, Germany between 1952 and 1957. Compact, beautifully engineered, and built entirely from brass and chrome, this is a camera for the serious film enthusiast, the collector, or the street photographer drawn to the deliberate, unhurried pace of classic rangefinder shooting. The "Red Dial" designation marks the upgraded version of the IIIf, distinguished by the red-engraved flash synchronization dial introduced in late 1952 — signaling a more reliable shutter mechanism and an improved flash sync speed of 1/50 sec for electronic flash.
