Used Lensbaby Trio 28mm f/3.5 Lens for Sony E
The Lensbaby Trio 28mm f/3.5 is a creative manual focus pancake lens built for full-frame Sony E-mount cameras, giving a 42mm equivalent focal length well suited to street photography. Unlike a conventional lens, it houses three completely different optics on a rotating front dial, Twist, Velvet, and Sweet, each producing a distinct bokeh effect that can be switched on the fly without changing lenses.
Twist creates a swirling, vintage-style blur toward the edges of the frame, Velvet produces a soft, dreamy glow across the whole image, and Sweet (the optic currently selected on this lens) creates a sharp central sweet spot of focus with a gradual increase in blur moving outward. The lens has a fixed f/3.5 aperture with no adjustable diaphragm, so exposure is controlled through shutter speed in Aperture Priority mode, and all three optics are multi-coated to minimize flare and ghosting. These effects are most pronounced at closer focusing distances and become more subtle beyond about 3 meters.

- Fixed f/3.5 aperture, no adjustable diaphragm
