Used NEEWER 35mm f/1.7 Lens for Sony E
The Neewer 35mm f/1.7 is a compact manual focus prime for APS-C Sony E-mount cameras, giving a 52.5mm equivalent field of view with a 44° 20' angle of view. It suits street, portrait, landscape, and close-up shooting, and the f/1.7 aperture helps in low light and gives some background separation.
The optical design uses 6 elements in 5 groups with multi-coating to reduce flare and ghosting. The all-metal barrel has a manual aperture ring and engraved distance and depth of field scales, which makes it easy to pre-focus or zone focus, and focus peaking on the camera helps with critical focus. It has no electronic contacts, so you may need to turn on “release without lens” in the camera menu.
