Used Nikon 50mm f/3.5 Lens for Bronica S2

The Nikkor-H 50mm f/3.5 is a wide-angle lens made by Nippon Kogaku for the Zenza Bronica S-series 6x6 medium format system, compatible with the S, S2, S2A, EC, and EC-TL bodies. Introduced in 1958, it was the widest-angle automatic lens available for the Bronica system at launch, delivering a 77-degree diagonal angle of view on the 6x6 format — equivalent to roughly 25mm on 35mm full frame. It is suited for landscapes, architecture, environmental portraits, and any work requiring a wide perspective with the depth and tonal rendering of medium format film.

The optical design draws on 6 elements and features an automatic diaphragm with click-stopped aperture from f/3.5 to f/22. The all-metal barrel uses the Bronica helicoid mount and focuses down to 12 inches (approximately 0.3m), giving it closer working distances than many lenses of its era. The 82mm front filter thread is a larger-than-average size for the period, reflecting the optical demands of covering the 6x6 negative. This is a used example in the Precision Camera inventory, produced by Nippon Kogaku and sold under the Nikkor-H designation for the Bronica S-series system.
