The Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II is a high-end Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera built around a 20.4 megapixel Live MOS sensor and TruePic VIII dual quad-core processor. It's positioned as a workhorse for fast action, sports, and landscape photography, pairing genuinely fast performance with a durable, weather-resistant magnesium alloy body.
Burst shooting is where this camera really stands out: up to 60fps with the electronic shutter and single AF, 18fps with continuous autofocus tracking, and 15fps with the mechanical shutter, all backed by a Dual FAST autofocus system combining 121 cross-type phase-detection points with contrast detection. In-body 5-axis image stabilization rated at up to 5.5 stops keeps handheld shots steady, and the camera records 4K video at both DCI (24p) and UHD (30p) resolutions. A 2.36M-dot electronic viewfinder pairs with a 3-inch, 1.04M-dot fully articulating touchscreen, and dual SD card slots (one UHS-II, one UHS-I) give some flexibility for backup or overflow recording. Built-in Wi-Fi supports wireless transfer and remote shooting, and a USB 3.0 Type-C port handles tethered shooting and fast file transfers.
