Used Olympus Pen E-PL3 Mirrorless Digital Camera Body
The Olympus PEN E-PL3 is a compact Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera built around a 12.3MP Live MOS sensor, announced in 2011 as part of the PEN Lite lineup alongside the E-P3 and E-PM1, sharing the same core imaging technology, autofocus speed, and six-core multi-processor across all three models. A notable feature for its time was the tilting 3.0" 460,000-dot LCD touchscreen, which flips out and rotates for high, low, and front-facing shooting angles, a useful option for a body without a built-in viewfinder. An optional electronic viewfinder (VF-2 or VF-3) or optical viewfinder (VF-1) can be attached via the accessory shoe for eye-level composition, though this requires removing the included clip-on flash unit since both share the same mounting point.
The camera offers full manual exposure control alongside Program, aperture-priority, and shutter-priority modes, and its 35-area contrast-detect autofocus system covers a wide portion of the frame. Continuous shooting reaches 5.5fps with image stabilization disabled or 4.1fps with it engaged, and the camera records Full HD 1080 video with stereo sound in AVCHD and MPEG-4 formats. The E-PL3 supports 3D still capture (MPO format) when paired with a compatible 3D lens, and connectivity includes USB 2.0, mini HDMI, and AV output. There is no built-in Wi-Fi.
