Used Olympus Tough TG-5 Digital Camera
The Olympus Tough TG-5 is a rugged waterproof compact camera built around a 12MP 1/2.3" BSI-CMOS sensor and the TruePic VIII image processor, announced in 2017 as a substantial imaging upgrade over its predecessor, the TG-4. The camera is genuinely built for adventure use: waterproof to 15m (50ft) without a housing, freezeproof to -10°C, crushproof to 100kgf, and shockproof from drops up to 2.1m, all in a hermetically sealed body that requires no external protection for everyday rugged or underwater shooting. The lens covers a 25-100mm equivalent range with a bright f/2.0 maximum aperture at the wide end, and the camera supports Olympus's clip-on fisheye and teleconverter accessories for expanded creative options.
The TG-5 records 4K UHD video at 30p and Full HD at up to 120fps for slow-motion capture, and continuous shooting reaches up to 20fps. A dedicated underwater mode set optimizes exposure and white balance for various depths and conditions, and the standout microscope mode enables genuine macro photography at extremely close focusing distances without needing separate wet macro lenses. The Field Sensor System integrates GPS, a compass, a manometer (depth/altitude gauge), and a temperature sensor for logging environmental data alongside images. The 3.0" 460,000-dot LCD covers composition and playback, and there is no viewfinder. Built-in Wi-Fi enables wireless image transfer and remote camera control via smartphone.
