Panasonic Lumix
The Panasonic Lumix DC-G100 is a compact Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera designed around content creation and vlogging, built around a 20.3MP Digital Live MOS sensor and the Venus Engine image processor. The camera records UHD 4K at up to 30p and Full HD at up to 60p, with V-Log L included for wide dynamic range video workflows. A built-in directional 3-capsule microphone with wind noise reduction is a standout feature for solo creators, and the large red record button on the top plate and on-screen recording border make video operation intuitive. A 3.0" 1,840,000-dot fully articulating touchscreen allows front-facing monitoring for vlogging, and the 3,680,000-dot OLED EVF provides high-resolution eye-level shooting.
The G100 is notably compact and lightweight at 352g body only, and its design draws on Panasonic's GM lineup rather than the larger G-series models. It does not include in-body image stabilization, relying instead on electronic stabilization in video mode and Dual IS when paired with stabilized lenses. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are built in for wireless image transfer and remote control via the Lumix Sync app, and the camera is compatible with the full Micro Four Thirds lens ecosystem.
