The Panasonic Lumix S PRO 70-200mm f/2.8 O.I.S. is a professional telephoto zoom lens built for full-frame L-Mount cameras, designed as a workhorse for events, portraiture, sports, and other mid-length subjects. Its constant f/2.8 maximum aperture holds steady throughout the zoom range, giving consistent exposure and depth of field control from 70mm to 200mm.

The optical design uses 22 elements in 17 groups, including three ED elements, two UED elements, and one aspherical element, to help control chromatic and spherical aberrations for sharp, accurate rendering. A dual focus system combining a linear motor and a stepping motor delivers fast, precise autofocus, and a focus clutch allows quick switching between AF and MF. Optical Image Stabilization pairs with in-body stabilization on compatible bodies for up to 7 stops of combined correction, and the lens carries dust, splash, and freeze-resistant construction along with a removable, rotating Arca-type tripod collar for use on a gimbal or tripod.
