Used Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens for Nikon Z
The Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary is a wide-angle prime lens built for Nikon Z-mount cameras with DX-format (APS-C) sensors, giving a 24mm equivalent field of view with an 83.2° angle of view. The f/1.4 maximum aperture helps in low light and for shallow depth of field, and the wide perspective suits landscapes, architecture, interiors, and vlogging.
The optical design uses 16 elements in 13 groups, including three FLD, two SLD, and two aspherical elements, with Super Multi-Layer Coating to reduce flare and ghosting. A stepping motor drives quiet autofocus for stills and video, and a 9-blade rounded diaphragm gives smooth out-of-focus areas. The brass bayonet mount has a dust- and splash-resistant seal, and the lens focuses as close as 9.8 inches.
