Used Super-Takumar 150mm f/4 Lens
The Super-Takumar 150mm f/4 is a manual focus telephoto prime lens built for M42 screw mount SLR cameras, part of Asahi Pentax's third generation of Takumar lenses introduced with the Pentax SV and S1a in 1962. This is the original single-coated version, later replaced by the Super-Multi-Coated Takumar in 1971.
The lens uses a robust, all-metal construction with a recessed focusing distance scale and a fully automatic diaphragm, along with a switch for automatic or manual aperture control. Its knurled focusing ring offers precise, accurate manual focusing, and single-layer anti-reflection coating helps reduce flare. Compact for a 150mm lens, it's a manageable telephoto option for portraits and general use on M42-mount film cameras or adapted mirrorless bodies.
