Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens for Micro Four Thirds
The Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens is a wide-angle lens prime with a 32mm-equivalent focal length for Micro Four Thirds cameras. It features an ultra-fast and bright maximum aperture of f/1.4, making it perfect for shooting in low-light conditions, and also affords increased control over depth of field for selective focus control. There are several low dispersion and aspherical glass elements to control color fringing and various aberrations in order to provide high sharpness and clarity throughout the aperture range. Sigma's Super Multi-Layer Coating is applied to individual elements to further suppress flare and ghosting for greater contrast and color fidelity when working in strong lighting conditions.
The 16mm lens also features a stepping AF motor for quick, quiet, and smooth focusing performance that suits both still photography as well as video applications. Additionally, the lens sports a durable, weather-sealed construction that allows the lens to excel in inclement weather conditions.
