Used 7Artisans 14mm f/2.8 Lens for Canon RF
The 7Artisans 14mm f/2.8 is a manual focus ultra-wide angle prime lens built for full-frame Canon RF-mount cameras, delivering a dramatic 116° field of view. It's well suited to landscape, architecture, and astrophotography, where a wide angle of view combined with a fast aperture makes a real difference.
The optical construction uses 13 elements in 9 groups, including 2 aspherical, 5 high refractive index, and 3 extra-low dispersion elements, to help control distortion and chromatic aberration. A 10-blade iris produces a distinctive 10-point sun-star effect on point light sources, and a stepless, de-clickable aperture ring allows smooth exposure changes during video recording. The lens ships with a short built-in petal-shaped hood plus a removable extra hood that accepts 77mm screw-in filters, unusual for an ultra-wide lens of this type, and its robust all-metal construction keeps things compact and lightweight.
