Used 7artisans 35mm f/1.4 for Canon RF
The 7artisans 35mm f/1.4 is a manual focus prime lens built for APS-C Canon RF-mount cameras, giving a 56mm full-frame equivalent focal length well suited to street photography, documentary work, and everyday shooting without drawing much attention. Its bright f/1.4 maximum aperture offers real control over depth of field in low light.
The optical design uses 8 elements in 5 groups based on a modified double Gaussian structure to help control dispersion while keeping the lens compact. A 9-blade diaphragm produces smooth, pleasing background blur, and a de-clicked aperture ring allows smooth, silent exposure changes during video recording. Clearly marked distance and depth of field scales support accurate manual focusing, and the lens focuses as close as 13.8 inches.
